Professor Dodd's obituary

http://cumberlink.com/lifestyles/announcements/obituaries/william-harrison-dodd/article_04ff66ad-96ec-55cb-ac16-a0e54b3791c9.html

This isn't about the happy valley football factory, but I wanted to post it anyway.
I had Professor Dodd for two semesters my junior year for property.  Confused the heck out of me, but then, I think that was on purpose.  He was a very nice man and led a very interesting life.  I remember the legal aid lawyers telling me about him going with them to talk to some farmers who hired migrant workers and confusing the heck out of the farmers too.  Before I graduated I wrote an article about him for the student newspaper.  Later, when I found that I actually had to teach property, I contacted him for some advice.  He was kind enough to respond and not ask why on earth someone as dense as I appeared to be in his property class was now teaching property.

"Legendary" and "gentle" --two words the obituary uses to describe him -- are quite accurate.
